“Very pleasant”
Everything. The staff did not explain how to use the onsen very well.

Friendly staff and a roomy suite made the stay pleasant, and the Kinsen (“gold water”) left my skin feeling moisturized and smooth. The dinner was decent, though not outstanding, while the breakfast surpassed what I’d had at other onsens.
The staff could speak several languages and one of them even used Mandarin, so talking was a breeze, and they even arranged a car to take us to the station. The food was delicious and refined, offering great value for money, and the room was tidy, stylish and very Japanese in character. The hot‑spring baths were wonderful, each one private, so we never ran into other guests while using them.
