Very poor customer service. My check-in time was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but when I arrived at the reception desk at 5:00 PM, I was informed that my room would not be ready until 6:00 PM. I was told to go out and find something to do while I waited. To make matters worse, no apology was offered for the inconvenience. This was an extremely disappointing experience and a lack of professionalism and consideration for guests

The hotel claims to have closets, but it had none. The breakfast that was supposed to be included in the reservation was not the “doce imperial” and it felt expensive for what was offered, not appealing at all. The only chair in the room was awful and everything looked disgusting.

“Cute and clean on a budget in TJ.”
We found our room cute and comfy, and it was very clean. Parking was secure, and the staff was absolutely amazing; my Spanish was limited and they were patient, kind, and welcoming. The breakfast included was better than expected for a budget hotel in Mexico—fresh, plentiful, with lunch‑style sandwiches, ham quesadillas, plenty of fruit and yogurt, warm toast with jam, honey, butter, cereal with milk, and coffee with powdered cream. Unlimited filtered water was a huge plus. The shower had hot water, the AC worked perfectly and quietly, and the Wi‑Fi was reliable. Things to note: I don’t think there is an elevator, so consider this when booking—some rooms are two stories up. The hotel sits just outside downtown Tijuana’s tourist area, with beggars and drug addicts nearby. Our toilet seat wasn’t fully attached to the toilet, but we didn’t mind—that’s just how this hotel is. It’s very cute and nice, but a little rustic. You could hear everything in the halls, but it quieted down at night. I couldn’t get the TV to connect to the Wi‑Fi—no biggie. The mattress was very firm; my husband likes that, even if I don’t.
