The location of this hotel is spot on, with loads of great restaurants and bars nearby.
The staff were super friendly and always willing to lend a hand, which was great.
The rooms themselves were clean, but the upholstery on the furniture looked like it had seen better days.
The room itself was nothing special.

“Atmosfera d'altri tempi.”
Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into a well‑kept green oasis; the building is an Anglo‑Indian villa that dates back to a 1928 general’s country estate and was converted into a hotel in 1978, still showing its original furnishings and old‑world atmosphere. The rooms are attractive, the breakfast room charming, the gardens lovely, and both indoor and outdoor areas are tastefully arranged, with the pool adding a wonderful touch.
“I would like to stay again”
Everything went well overall, but the garden area could be cleaner and greener, and there should be safeguards for snakes since the rooms open onto the garden. If someone steps out to smoke at night, some lighting on the room porches would be helpful.
The palace was simply marvelous, surrounded by nature, peace and tranquility, with a super helpful staff, the room was very cozy and comfortable and the property was simply stunning. Both the bar and the hotel restaurant were superb and the breakfast divine. I wish I had stayed more days.
The hotel is incredible; the historic building is gorgeous and the grounds are calm and well maintained. The staff is a high point of the stay, making us feel welcome and ready to help with anything we need, which made our stay truly special.
Overall a good property with nice greenery; the peacocks on the premises were a highlight.
