I usually stay here when I have work in Freo; it’s a straightforward bed and roof for the night. The kitchen, however, didn’t have coffee or hot water.

The location was convenient, close to the train station and shops, and the Mexican restaurant nearby had nice décor, tasty food, and good service. On the first floor, the men's showers had broken taps, and the music from the restaurant stayed a bit loud until 10 pm.

The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, going out of their way to help, and the vibe felt very family‑friendly. A few things could use an update.
