Because of a fault the host warned me about on arrival, the house had no Wi‑Fi; on the second floor, in the low‑ceilinged area, it was sweltering even with the skylights open, and the patio reeked of cat urine, probably due to nearby animals, while lots of flies swarmed both outside and inside.
“FIN DE SEMANA ESTUPENDO”
The house is in a very pleasant village, ideal for a weekend, close to Peñafiel for visiting the castle and its wineries, and the village also has some walking routes. The house was very clean, had good heating, and a fantastic patio. Everything was very good.
The place is large, with a bathroom in almost every room, and there were enough kitchen utilities to have a good stay. However, the dishes had stains— not from food, but from poor dishware— that could have been removed.
