“Comfortable, affordable, good location and friendly staff.”
The room was a bit hot, but otherwise comfortable, affordable, well‑located, and the staff were friendly.

The location is great for exploring the city, even if it isn’t in the very center. The area is quiet and the house itself is huge. The only downside was that the air‑conditioning was missing in August, making the ground floor feel like an inferno.

It was 35 °C without an air‑conditioner, and there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and well‑situated. We chose it because it had a high comfort rating, even though it was pricey. We expected the host to have made it comfortable, but in the extreme heat of July 2026 it felt like living in hell on Earth. No ceiling fans or air‑conditioning, just a top‑floor apartment that got scorching even with all windows open. The host provided two small desk/pedestal fans for three rooms, which did little. A water‑based cooler fan was supposedly broken, and when we asked Fabrizio for more fans he said nothing could be done. My family was terribly uncomfortable and slept poorly all night. We had a full‑day boat cruise off the coast that required good rest, and we had paid $600 for that excursion. After a sleepless night battling heat and mosquitoes from the open windows, the kids were exhausted and we had to cancel the next‑morning excursion, losing most of the money. We had booked two nights but couldn’t stay a minute in the hot rooms, so we packed and left the next morning without knowing where to stay for the second night. Customer service promised to help find another place, but never called back. Luckily we found another hotel 20 miles away, though it was much more expensive due to the last‑minute booking. We checked in there at 11 am. The kids slept most of the day because they were so tired from the night before. We received a partial refund for the second night we didn’t stay.

Fabrizio is adorable and helpful. Nuoro isn’t a beautiful city, but the surroundings are!
