Hotel Nena feels like a 3‑star place with 5‑star service and amenities. Breakfast was superb, offering a wide variety of options. Out of the four hotels we stayed at on our trip to Turkey—Sultanahmet and Taksim, Bodrum, and Fethiye—Hotel Nena was by far the best overall. We were a family of five, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a sea‑view room, a lovely touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Special thanks to Mr. Aziz, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay, giving us great suggestions for shopping areas and restaurants, and most importantly, letting us leave our extra luggage at the hotel while we travelled to Bodrum, even though we would be staying in Taksim when we returned to Istanbul. We also accidentally left a wallet at the hotel during check‑out while heading to Bodrum. The hotel contacted us on WhatsApp and even sent us a picture of the wallet. We were able to collect it later on our way back to Istanbul from Fethiye. This level of honesty, care, and attentiveness really deserves appreciation. The location is superb, just about a 5‑minute walk from the Sultanahmet tram station, making it very convenient for exploring the main attractions. Overall, we had an excellent experience at Hotel Nena. If I visit Istanbul again, Hotel Nena will definitely be my first choice for staying in the Sultanahmet area. ❤️ Highly recommended!
