I stayed in a double room that had a separate shower and a bathtub that felt like a private bath, which was very comfortable and great. The bathtub was unusually large for a Japanese hotel. Breakfast was excellent; there weren’t many dishes, but everything was tasty, especially the fried oysters. The location is superb—department store nearby and Don Quijote right next door. Both Okonomiyaki Muram and Okonomiyaki Republic are adjacent, so you can indulge in Hiroshima specialties. Across the street is a gyoza shop, and the gyoza and draft beer there were truly amazing. The double bed was narrower than expected; it was a bit tight for a couple to sleep together, so we ended up sleeping very close but it wasn’t comfortable enough to lie flat. A twin room with separate beds would have been better.
