Across the street from the hotel sits a huge shopping mall, and nearby there are several small supermarkets; a local vendor at the entrance sells fruit cheaply, and many attractions are easily reachable by local buses. The hotel has security personnel, feels safe, and the locals are friendly; I fell in love with Maputo starting from this hotel.

The hotel is great for getting anywhere, the front desk staff were warm and attentive, the room was spotless and the air was fresh, and I love the screened windows; I originally booked one night but ended up staying two more.
