“Très bon séjour”
The hotel’s location is great, the hotel itself is very good, the pool is very clean and pleasant. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, and the shower is very nice. Overall a very good service. The breakfast could be improved to reach excellence (more personalization in the main dish).
“Wunderschöne Tage in Selong Belanak in wunderschönem Hotel”
The staff were very friendly, helped with all requests, and explained how to use the scooter. The rooms were very tidy and modernly furnished with shampoo, conditioner, etc. Breakfast was healthy and very tasty. The pool area is beautifully arranged. The wait time for breakfast should be planned (15–20 minutes if you order a bowl). Rooms were somewhat small. In our room the Wi‑Fi connection was very bad.
Very chic and clean, close to a beautiful beach. The pool is top. If I had to find a flaw, the services could improve, like extending spa hours at least until 20:00. We couldn’t use it because we always came back after sunset.
“Sconsigliato non metteteci piede”
The scooter rental was the only good thing. The rooms were full of insects, the pillows smelled of sweat, and we were charged for breakfast that was listed as included in the price; apparently only some dishes were included but we were never told. Insects were everywhere, especially in the first room they gave us, which had an open bathroom ceiling and everything entered in. After complaining, they changed us to a room on the upper floor that was tiny with a bed that was one and a half beds wide (we were 2 adults and 1 child) and it was still full of insects. I don’t know who recommends it with excellent cleanliness.
“Decent hotel but the surroundings are pretty bad”
Modern and new, the breakfast was pleasant, though it felt comparable to other resorts of similar price. The hotel sits on a tiny plot, so when the surrounding area looks like a wasteland it feels a bit claustrophobic. Getting to and from Selong Belanak costs IDR50k, and a tour provider raised that by IDR250k because we were in Selong Belanak instead of Kuta. Even the short walk to Selong Belanak beach isn’t safe. The spa therapist was diligent and friendly, but the setting was cramped—just a small room tucked beside the laundry area, not a proper spa.
