Being right next to the Duomo in the historic area was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent, the Wi‑Fi excellent, and the bedding clean. However, the place is a bit grubby, the daily room service feels perfunctory, the toilet seat doesn’t fit properly, and it definitely isn’t a 4‑star hotel even though it’s marketed as one.

The receptionist was very kind, but the hotel is dirty, mold is everywhere, the air‑conditioning doesn’t work well, and the bed is uncomfortable.

The location and the staff were very friendly, but the place felt a bit dated and I couldn't form a full opinion because I only stayed a couple of hours before my early flight left.

The setting was beautiful, historic, and clean; the staff were courteous and prepared, and breakfast was excellent! The central spot with a view of the Duomo and the Caravaggio museum is a must-see. The bathroom ventilation wasn’t very clean, the plastic shower head profiles came off, but everything else was fine.
