A quiet spot, a lovely breakfast spread, friendly staff and tasty food – great for hikers too. We also liked the old furnishings in the lobby and the photos.

The restaurant food was really good, breakfast matched its price, and the trails were well marked. The staff and the couple were very friendly, but the rooms were really small and the carpet in the room was annoying.

We were just passing through, so the roadside location was perfect. We could park our motorcycles right in front of the hotel. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, especially the nice waiter at the restaurant – please pass on our thanks for the great service.
