The location is exceptional, the outdoor areas are gorgeous, the building feels a bit old-fashioned but still charming. The room is small but nice, with a large balcony/terrace. The green, cold pool was a huge disappointment, especially since the pool area itself is great and the rest of the place is very good. Dining on site with local wine was a bit of a let‑down.

The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. However, there were dogs owned by the proprietor, and when she noticed I seemed scared (I hadn’t said anything), instead of making me feel comfortable she told me “if you’re afraid of animals, don’t come to a farmhouse.” I was left speechless because I hadn’t mentioned anything. Later we found the dogs in various areas, including the breakfast area and the corridors. I complained to the staff, who, unlike the owner, took care of it. I chose a farmhouse, not a zoo! I strongly recommend cleaning the pool of that indescribable color.

“Lovely family run place, feels like staying with locals. Lovely garden and animals!”

A lovely antique family‑run place with meticulous detail and homemade breakfasts and dinners. I loved the animals, the view, the garden, and the pool area. The only downside was hearing traffic from the nearby road quite a bit in the evening.

“Very relaxing small hotel, with beautiful grounds to enjoy”

The interiors are beautifully decorated in a white and cream traditional style. It’s a large estate with many outdoor seating areas and a very nice pool. The lane leading to the entrance was littered with discarded rubbish bags, which detracts from the property’s appeal as you approach.

The host was very nice. It’s a perfect place to relax, with an unbelievably beautiful setting. The staff are flawless.
