The room was stunning, the Wi‑Fi was incredible, and the air conditioning worked like a charm. Ahmed, the host, was very accommodating and even organized a motorboat trip to the Nubian Village for us. The place is so quiet and peaceful! If you’re in Aswan, you have to stay on Elephantine Island to experience a different vibe from the rest of Egypt, and AnDy’s Nubian is the perfect choice. It’s just a minute from the south island port and close to great restaurants like Bon Appetite (listed as Bonabiti on Google Maps), where I had the best tagine I’ve ever tasted, and Nile View West, which is amazing for sunsets. I’d give AnDy’s a 10/10.

The room was stunning, spotless, very organized, modern, colorful, and welcoming. The owner was extremely helpful, kind, and hospitable.

I stayed alone for two nights. The first‑floor room had a double bed, a unit bathroom, and a shelf. The room size was just right, the water area was clean, and the shower supplied good water. The air‑conditioner kept a comfortable temperature. The common area had a kitchen, sofa, table, and self‑service tea and coffee. The fridge was large. I joined a $30 tour to Absinth. The bus transfer was provided without a guide, but the ride and schedule were fine. Owner Ahmed and the staff were very kind and helped whenever I had trouble or didn’t understand something. They kept me in touch via WhatsApp. The only downside was a small bug on the bed, which might bother some people. Occasionally the owner’s English was incomplete, so I didn’t always know what he meant, but everything was resolved in the end. The island was generally quiet, but chickens kept clucking day and night.

The location on the island was peaceful, far from the noisy mainland. The room was basic but clean, had good AC, and the shared kitchen was useful. The host communicated well through the app. The bed was uncomfortable.
