The property felt so relaxed and the location was beautiful. Inside was stunning, and our room was a dream with a comfortable bed and excellent amenities. I highly recommend it; I can’t fault Arden country house.

The welcome was great and the attention to detail was excellent. Homemade shortbread with our coffee tasted tasty. Cleanliness was 10/10, and the quality of bedding and furniture was 10/10. It was the best sleep I’ve had away from home in years 😍

The room was luxurious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and the homemade shortbread biscuits left each day (along with other snacks!) were the cherry on top. When we said goodbye and mentioned the shortbread, Beth made a little doggie bag of biscuits for our long drive back home. Thank you so much for a lovely stay! Monique & Brad

Everything about this stay was superb. The exceptional comfort (the bed was divine) and the warmth of our hosts Beth and John, who did so much for us. Breakfast was cooked to order—I wish we’d stayed longer to try every option. Genuinely the best breakfast I’ve had anywhere—the variety, the quality, the presentation, all incredible. Thank you both
