The room was tidy and the bed was comfy. We had asked for a first‑floor room because of mobility issues and almost immediately got an email saying they could guarantee it. When we checked in, the front desk told my husband that only a second‑floor room was available. We showed them the email and, after insisting, they finally honored the request by giving us a main‑floor room with two beds.

The place feels old‑fashioned and had a musty odor that made it hard to breathe. Everyone spoke very French, so it was unclear if they understood our requests. We were told there was no TV or internet, but the staff promised to fix it later. The ice machine was broken, so they had to pull ice from a tray in a very old kitchen. The bed kept shifting away from the wall and the pillows kept falling off. Overall, I was very disappointed with our stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had a Smart TV. The price is really high for a literally BASIC “Motel” room. Lamps didn’t turn off; we had to unplug the whole lamp. Hallway lights are turned off. The only ice offered was a very small bag of pre‑made cubes from a regular tray, and only one bag per room was allowed. There was no breakfast. Extra fees applied: $2 for each small bottle of water, $3 for coffee replacement items.

The front desk was friendly when we checked in. The Wi‑Fi code was marked as expired, so we went back to the desk for a new one, but the staff insisted that was the correct code even after we explained the error. The curtains were hanging on hooks and couldn’t be closed, letting light in, and there were no tissues—the box was empty. It all felt run‑down and shouldn’t cost $182 a night.
