I appreciated the kitchen area; it includes a coffee machine, water dispenser, fridge, and a cooker, letting me prepare my favorite meals with all the necessary equipment.

Nice hostel. I spent 4 comfortable days here. The staff were kind and helpful. Thank you. Nothing else to add.

I never thought about staying at a coliving‑co‑working place until a friend, Yuh Wen, suggested I try this kind of “setting” in CNX. I searched on apps and asked ChatGPT—Socialer appeared on both—so I booked a private room with a shared bathroom. The price was about RM100 a night, which is far cheaper than a hotel that would cost 2–3× more, especially since I barely use the facilities. The private room was impeccably clean, as was the shared bathroom. There are plenty of universal wall sockets, so my travel adapter became unnecessary 😄, and there’s even a working desk with an extra monitor on the table! The bed is large enough for two and very comfortable for a good sleep. Next to it are floor‑to‑ceiling sliding glass patio doors that open onto a balcony—hello natural sunlight 🌞! The coworking area is small, but the internet and the vibe of seeing people hustling make you feel part of the action. If you’re an entrepreneur or business traveler heading to Chiang Mai for work plus leisure (or a “thinking week”), and you want easy city access and a focused workspace, Socialer is perfect. You might even meet new people. I met Linz Lee, the entrepreneur behind Socialer; her story on Substack is https://substack.com/@dilosolopreneur. Linz showed me where to get great local staple food nearby, and the chicken noodles and chicken rice were both delicious 😋 Thanks for the “Miche‑linz” list 😉. Nothing else to complain about.
