The hotel's old-fashioned charm was a bit of a letdown, especially considering the tiny rooms. The breakfast was a total non-starter, and the hotel itself just didn't have much going for it - unless you're right on the beach, that is. Still, the location was a major plus.

Unfortunately, our room had a pretty strong smell - it could've been stale food or cigarette smoke, but it was definitely there. And to make matters worse, there was no service to speak of - the pool only opened on weekends, and the garden was basically just a patch of grass. Not exactly what we were looking for.

The breakfast was actually really tasty, and the staff were super friendly. However, getting here in the evening can be a bit tricky, as the entrance is pretty dark and the path to the lobby isn't lit. Still, it's a minor quibble in an otherwise pleasant stay.

We were really pleased with our stay here. The hotel's quiet location, tucked away from the main road, made for a peaceful break. The staff were super helpful and we enjoyed our meals in the hotel, both dinner and breakfast were top-notch. It's a shame there's no pool, but overall we had a great time.
