“Für den Preis in Ordnung”

The owner was friendly, though communication was difficult and only possible via a translator. The location is good, and early check‑in had no problem with no extra cost. The price matched a hostel I stayed at with my sister last year, and I could use the kitchen to wash my hands. The bathroom wasn’t really clean, but it was okay. There was no soap in the bathroom, even when I asked (I could use the kitchen for washing my hands, so that was fine). There was no toilet paper, so I had to ask for it. Nobody refilled it unless I requested.

I rented an old, run‑down scooter from the place; it kept shutting off as soon as I slowed down. I wrote to the owner but got no response for a long time. The scooter rental company eventually contacted me; the owner blamed me for taking the scooter to a national park that was too far for such an old bike. 1. We were less than 20 minutes out of town the first time it happened. 2. It was a good main road, if not a highway. 3. The owner should have warned me beforehand that the scooters were not suitable for long distances or provided better ones. The scooter eventually worked again and we drove back, but I felt very alone and no one would have helped if we couldn’t return. I asked for a refund, which was denied. When we got back, nobody asked if everything was okay. The bathroom wasn’t really clean, but it was acceptable. There was no soap in the bathroom, even after I asked (I was allowed to use the kitchen for washing my hands, so that was fine). There was no toilet paper, so I had to ask for it. Nobody refilled it unless I requested. The first breakfast was plain pancakes and water; the second day I got chocolate on it, so that was fine.

“Pagaria 1€ més per estar en un altre hostel”

The hostel is very well located and offers good value for money. The staff were never present. The window stayed open all afternoon, attracting a lot of mosquitoes, so I couldn’t sleep well.

“Very cheap so worth it but a bit disorganised which caused frustration”

Very cheap and in a good location. I paid for two single beds in a 8 mixed dorm, upon arrival my friend and I were told there was a free bed in a 4 bed female dorm and a free bed in the mixed one and told us to decide between ourselves which one we wanted. We both paid the same. I went in the mixed one so I should have paid less. They should not have been the same price. I was also not given a towel and couldn’t find any at reception and there was nobody around to ask so I couldn’t have a shower
