This Double Room has a private kitchen, a terrace with a garden view, and outdoor furniture. Despite a massive fly infestation, the bathroom looked clean. I wished there had been a manual on how to use the rented caravan and the campsite rules.

I loved the cozy atmosphere of this campsite, it really felt like home. However, I think it would be helpful to have a list or guide to explain how everything works and what's available. I didn't discover the Nespresso machine until the end of my stay, which was a nice surprise.

This campsite is a hidden gem, just a stone's throw from the centre of Lichtenvoorde. The owner is super friendly and the facilities are immaculately maintained. You can even buy drinks from a fridge and do a load of laundry. What more could you ask for?

Breakfast wasn't included, but the place is beautiful. Make sure to check beforehand whether the heater works and if the smoke detector needs new batteries!

We only stayed for two nights, but it was a great experience trying out camping in a caravan and we'd definitely do it again. The location is perfect for cycling and exploring the area. Unfortunately, the nearby road can get quite busy at night, especially with motorbikes.
