The location is fantastic, and the host was very responsive and attentive. However, the walls and ceiling are quite thin, and the neighbors played loud music during the day, though it was quiet enough at night.

The location, the facilities, the cleanliness, and the landlord who took excellent care and was always available and solution‑oriented were all outstanding. Nothing to add.

Position was good for me. Only 5 minutes from where I was visiting. Mattress was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Very clean property. Small things that weren’t a big deal, but if I was staying longer than one night, would be a problem. The bed frame was a bit creaky, bathroom bin didn’t open, no blind at the windows (had to use blackout curtains), a few stickers around with handwritten notes on ie wardrobe, push to open etc, wardrobe wasn’t long enough for trousers, fridge wasn’t switched on (only switched on for stays longer than 1 or 2 nights), outside gate was faulty, so was left open and there was building work next door that may start at 8.30am, but they were not there every day. I didn’t realise this until after I’d booked. I also didn’t realise this was a basement property down some stairs to the front door

The location was truly excellent, right in Marylebone, central and easy to get around. We could reach the tube and bus stops with no trouble, and the nearby restaurants, cafés, and shops were a big plus. The room we stayed in was on the first floor, which made it a bit disadvantageous for natural light and outside view. During our stay, we also saw a few times smoke drift from the outside stairwell onto our stairs, which was unpleasant.

The room was comfortable and spacious, and the spot was fabulous. Barbara was very communicative and always replied quickly. I would definitely book again.
