“Good place for a stay”

It’s a nice spot for a short stay in Cholpon Ata. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean. The toilet is a bit small, but it has everything you need. Breakfast included a tasty porridge. The only issue is that the address listed on the booking site isn’t the actual address; it’s a block away. It’s best to confirm the correct address with the owner beforehand.

This was the worst experience of my life. I arrived at the property at 6 p.m. and found a group of English guests already waiting. After a long wait, the owner finally came and told us he had no room for us, even though we’d booked a private room days in advance. He insisted on putting us in a shared room with others. When we refused, he sent us to another property 13 km away and made us pay for the taxi. That place was like a stable: dirty, peeling walls, a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, a terrible smell, and no toilet paper. We had no choice but to pay for the accommodation. We spent several miserable days in a place that seemed meant for migrants. Overall, this was absolutely unacceptable, especially since we’d booked in advance. Many reviews mention the same problem, so future guests should beware.
