“Restfull.”
I loved the rest. The beautiful garden was very well kept and the plants were knowledgeable. The statues were well chosen. A good place for a garden lover. Everything was spic and span order.

Nice address to explore the Cotswolds from here. Beautiful rooms, very well maintained. Breakfast is good, there is a kitchen with everything ready, you eat in your own room. There is a nice garden where you can sit with good weather. Quiet environment. On the way you find plenty of nice tearooms for cream tea! The beautiful route through the Cotswolds was given to us by the hostess. Directly nearby there are not many eating places, but in Cheltenham, Winchcombe, Broadway or Chipping Camden you can find plenty of restaurants.

We took our breakfast from the fridge ourselves, it was filled for us. A pack of cheese, a pack of ham spread, yoghurt, jam and butter. Eggs, tea and coffee and cereals and toast and pastries were in a cupboard under the fridge. If you like to provide yourself, this is a good option. We shared the kitchen and fridge with two other rooms and were told to leave the kitchen in a tidy and clean state. It is an old building in a manor style, very pretty and well kept. We were in an extension, similar to a garden shed, and given the high temperatures of 38 degrees, there was no protection in this building, no external sun protection, the large windows were a heater. It got incredibly hot, the situation was very hard to endure. We would have liked to cover the glass from outside, we were forbidden. Also it disturbed me that the lady of the house in our bathroom (we ventilated the whole night and in the morning until leaving the room) opened the windows and hung clothes, because we probably didn't do it right, that is not possible. I would have liked to leave the extreme heat outside during the day. We live in our own house and are able to maintain a reasonable ventilation behavior.

Loved the location, in a quiet area, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Very helpful host. I was a little nervous using the stairs to come down from my room which was upstairs- they are very steep, especially carrying a suitcase.
