“Lots of potential, but too many practical problems at the moment.”
The small bungalows are basic, which is expected for the price. One owner wasn’t present during my stay, but his wife was very kind and helpful. The place has a lot of potential and is surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed everything else. Getting there was already an adventure; I arrived after dark and the Wi‑Fi had been down all day. The owner even drove about 10 minutes away to send me a message, but once I got to the area I still had no Wi‑Fi. There was no clear sign indicating where the accommodation was, so I spent a lot of time driving back and forth in the dark. By chance I met another guest who showed me the way; that guest left the next day, leaving me the only guest on the property. The owner made (paid) breakfast in the morning, but shops and restaurants are some distance away, so I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here without your own transport. On my third day the electricity went out, making the bungalow unbearably hot as the fan stopped working too. I eventually left two days earlier than planned. I was promised compensation for one of those nights, but after a month of back‑and‑forth messages I still haven’t received it. There is potential here, but many practical issues still need fixing. In its current state I can’t really recommend it.
