“Convenient for 1 night if getting ferry to Rhodes”
Communication was quick and efficient, the location was easy to reach from a taxi drop‑off, and it’s right next to the water. In the castle old‑town area you can stroll the historic streets. Afag is communicative, helpful, and very kind. The air‑con works great, the bathroom is spacious, and hand soap is provided. The price is high for the standard of the rooms, which are hostel‑grade. Lower‑floor rooms have no sea view. The landlady does all the cleaning and other chores. The room we stayed in didn’t match the photos – it was old and needed fresh paint. A bathroom window lets a neighbour’s window see in; I didn’t see anyone, but it’s unsettling while showering. The bathroom in the bottom‑left unit has a leaking shower that drips all over the floor and bath mat; it needs fixing. A street light shines into the bedroom from the hallway, so an eye mask helps if you’re a light sleeper. At night the street goes dark and the electricity and air‑con stop working.
