The renovated Cascinale sits nicely amid the Tuscan countryside, the pool is very clean in a lovely garden, you can dine at the property’s excellent restaurant serving typical Tuscan cuisine, and breakfast includes a variety of homemade cakes—complete relaxation stay.

The terrace, the garden and the pool were really great, a relaxing and quiet spot that I’d come back to for its simplicity. The restaurant was a bit pricey and the breakfast ran from 7:30 to 8 am on Saturdays and Sundays, which can be limiting if you’re staying for work and need to leave early.

The outdoor areas are impeccably maintained and the staff is professional. We also had a great dinner. A pleasant, quiet place, simple yet elegant.

The accommodation and its surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, located in a small village near Cortona with a beautiful hillside view from the pool. We were housed in room Giorgio above the reception. The room was clean, spacious, had a small fridge, and working air‑conditioning. Even though we stayed only two nights, the room was cleaned during our stay. The whole area is very quiet and clean. The restaurant cooks very well. The gentleman serving dinner was very kind and understood English without a problem. The gentleman at breakfast didn’t speak English, but we always managed to get what we needed. The brochure said that only guests staying there could use the pool. Overall we enjoyed the stay and most of all appreciated the beautiful surroundings, peace, and stunning view of Cortona. The breakfast had a fairly limited selection. For those who don’t mind sweet breakfasts, the offer is sufficient, but for savory only one type of cheese and one type of salami were available. We missed items like eggs or a wider range of savory options. Also, the 3 EUR price for water at dinner seems quite high, especially since water is usually free with meals elsewhere.
