“Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal”

What really impressed me was how friendly the hosts were, letting me ski a day in late April. I was picked up from the bus stop in the evening, got a warm meal as the only guest in the dining room, and then enjoyed a hot bath afterward. The next morning I could rent ski gear right in the hotel and was taken to the chairlift. In the afternoon I was collected and taken back to the bus stop. Thanks again for making all that possible! The room was bright with a nice mountain view. I especially liked the dining room, which was completely different from what one usually finds in Japan—cozy and fitting for a mountain area. The property also has some nice motor sleds for winter tours, which is a great activity. The building itself is a bit old and could use a renovation, and the ski gear, especially the shoes, was also somewhat dated, but it all worked.

Suffering from severe hay fever in Tokyo, I found real relief while staying here; the crisp mountain air and quiet surroundings calmed my symptoms and let me sleep soundly. The inn itself is very peaceful and soothing, perfect for a genuine refresh. The food was delicious and left me very satisfied. The young proprietress was exceptionally kind, handling everything with gentle professionalism. She mentioned she could teach me skiing next time, which makes me look forward to returning. It truly was a wonderful place.

Staff are friendly and helpful, some of the staff are able to communicate in english. Homey vibe. The room is comfortably big for 4 grown adults Cute dog on the premise. The premise is abit dated. No convenience store nearby
