“« Un très beau séjour, quelques détails à revoir pour atteindre l'excellence »”
We really enjoyed the stunning setting of the hotel, with its superb view of the bay and moored boats; the environment was truly pleasant. The facilities were high quality, especially the spa, pool, and direct beach access, and we liked the various spaces arranged throughout the property. Even with a 94 % occupancy rate, we never felt crowded, which is a big plus for a hotel of this size. The food deserves a special mention: the buffets were varied, generous, with a wide selection of dishes, and the cuisine was tasty and high quality. Overall, a beautiful, well-designed place that feels great to stay in. The most annoying thing for us was the presence of smokers at the tables, especially in the outdoor dining areas. We were a group of seven non‑smokers and it was unpleasant to endure cigarette smoke during meals; it would be better to have fully non‑smoking dining spaces. Another issue was the pool water temperature, which felt particularly cold; a few degrees warmer would make it much more enjoyable. Finally, we were disappointed with the upgrade offered at arrival. The rooms were old, with worn carpet and décor that needed modernising. We ended up asking for standard rooms, which were noticeably more pleasant and comfortable. A real let‑down for an upgrade! These points are mainly suggestions for improvement for a property that otherwise has many strengths.
