The breakfast and dinner were very good, and the hosts were very friendly. Note that they charge in euros, not dollars, which raises the rating. Avoid using the taxi they provide; it will scam you on the exchange rate between the quoted dollar price and the amount in shillings.

We recommend Polly Lodge because of its calm atmosphere, complete and delicious breakfast, and attentive service. The staff are lovely and help with everything. It’s a nice place with a clean room and a cool space on a beautiful beach with private hammocks. Everything was perfect.

The breakfast on the terrace in front of the room was very tasty and generous. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, there are frequent power outages, so there’s no A/C or fan at night, which is suboptimal, but it’s not the operator’s fault.

A cozy lodge well maintained, with a spacious, clean room. The staff were friendly and kind. The real charm comes from the owners, Paola and Simone, who have created a unique, family‑like atmosphere. Listen to Paola’s authentic African stories and taste the delicious dishes Simone prepares himself. One-of-a-kind place. I had to leave.

The owners, Simone and Paola, take great care of their guests. The private beach is a 3‑minute walk away and very peaceful. Simone cooks a tasty, carefully prepared cuisine, and the breakfast is more than generous. Nothing to complain about. Local life nearby, just as we wanted. We recommend this small, human‑scale property.
