“Great”
The location is good and the staff are friendly. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom’s shared light could be improved; each bathroom and toilet might benefit from its own light.

The accommodation is in an excellent spot, just steps from main streets and next to a lovely little park we enjoyed daily. We stayed in a private room with a perfectly working air‑conditioner, and the shared bathroom was clean. The reception staff, though not fluent in English, were always kind and helpful. Everything is simple yet welcoming, with an outdoor counter offering hot water, coffee and bananas every day, plus a fridge and microwave. Nearby, there are many tasty and affordable dining options, and a 7‑Eleven a couple of blocks away. The pillows and mattresses are a bit firm for my taste, and while the rooms are separated, there’s no sound insulation, so you can hear everything and privacy is lacking.

The staff were very attentive and there was air‑conditioning. The breakfast consisted of just a banana and a coffee.

I loved the cozy vibe and the free coffee outside, but the rooms were so soundproof that even the neighbor’s TV was a mystery.

We booked Sakura Hotel but ended up at Fuji Hotel, which is nearby; we loved it enough to return. The rooms were spacious, bright, and clean, and the owner didn’t speak English but we managed via phone. The hotel sits close to a park where free morning yoga is offered and to cafés with tasty breakfasts, and it’s a short walk from the city centre. Booking directly saves money. They give plenty of hangers to dry clothes by the window and a washing machine; a small laundromat in front supplies detergent if needed. The area is quiet, no noise, and there’s a water dispenser that charges a small fee per litre. I’m allergic to dust and sensitive to mold, yet neither of the two rooms we stayed in had any issues or smells. A fridge is in the room. Truly lovely. The mattresses were very hard, but we adapted quickly.
