Mohamed and his family offered wonderful hospitality, the Moroccan food was excellent, the views of Imlil and the High Atlas mountains were amazing, and the accommodations were clean and new. The neighbor’s donkey was a bit noisy at night, but it actually added to the charm of visiting a wonderful Moroccan village.

Mohamed hosted us before our trek in the High Atlas, and the balcony gave an incredible view of Toubkal; the room was large with an ensuite bathroom, brand new, clean, and peaceful—a perfect start and finish for a hike in the region.

The room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view from the common terrace, and the staff were friendly. However, we couldn't sleep even with earplugs because a donkey was braying loudly near our windows all day and night; the Wi‑Fi worked only in the upstairs common areas, not in the room, and the price was higher than similar accommodations.

The property was a very idyllic, traditional‑style retreat where everything was lovely and clean; we slept comfortably in fresh mountain air amid peaceful surroundings, and Muhammad was friendly, helpful, and an excellent guide for our hike.
