The resort offers two private beaches accessed by panoramic lifts, a seasonal outdoor pool, tennis court, cocktail bar, and a sea‑view restaurant serving local and Mediterranean cuisine. The location of Hotel Baia Delle Zagare is undeniably spectacular. The thoughtful design of the complex and the rooms blends perfectly into the surroundings, and the view of the two picturesque coves with turquoise water is unique. If you want to enjoy the sun on the beach, you should start early: unfortunately the beach areas are already completely shaded from about 16:00. The food situation is mixed: the breakfast buffet boasts a huge and high‑quality selection, but the rest of the dining options fall short. The Beach Bistro offers no hot dishes and only a very limited menu. Even more disappointing was the dinner at the restaurant: the quality of the food was more like cafeteria level, the service seemed harsh and rigidly timed. Here, both culinary and human potential are unfortunately wasted. In short: a visual highlight with strict restructuring needed. Those looking for a dream setting will be rewarded – but for gastronomy and individualized guest service clear compromises must be made. The culinary offering is unworthy of the hotel. The lack of service in this area makes it almost impossible to stay longer. Because of the extremely winding roads, you are somewhat cut off from the outside world and need a better and more interesting offering for proper relaxation on site. Two UNs were enough for us.

The resort feels like a fairy tale, the park is stunning, everything is arranged down to the last detail, yet it still gives the impression of being in the middle of nature and lets the park look natural. The staff are very, very friendly. The food is excellent. The chef’s menu surprises keep evenings exciting because you never know what delicacies will be offered that night, and everything was more than great. The beaches are naturally beautiful and also well organized (shower, changing cabin, loungers, towels, drinks, food). This is not a criticism at all, but we were here during the off‑season and there were relatively few people. That suited us perfectly, but I hope that in the summer months when it is fully booked they can maintain the same quality.
