It was great! Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was amazing 👏 😋. The rooms could have been a bit more clean It would be better if you could maintain better

“Hopeless. Not worth the money at all. We will never go back or recommend it for anyone.”

They had very limited options for breakfast. Didn’t refill the tea/coffee sachets when we asked. Said they only provide tea/coffee for one cup. We were asked to pay and order tea if we wanted. It was absurd, even five star hotels refill the tea/coffee in rooms when we ask. It was a cheap move. At the morning breakfast, the milk rice didn’t have milk and the sambol was made with dedicated or used coconut. It was so dry and tasteless. There was no tea station or the waiters didn’t offer tea when the guests were having breakfast. So we didn’t know we could get tea at breakfast. They didn’t fill the sachets in rooms and didn’t offer tea at breakfast table, most of us had no way of having morning tea. It’s situated in a remote area so there are no restaurants or shops around. When we wanted to order bites the prices were too expensive. Given the quality of the hotel they could not charge 3650 for club sandwiches. If they had reasonable prices people would have ordered from them conveniently. But we went back to a town looking for a good place to get food because the hotel was trying to rob us in broad daylight. Sri Lankans are very hospitable people. This is the land of tea. The stingy things they do reflect badly on Sri Lanka because they portray a wrong image. Tourists wouldn’t want to come back to this kind of treatment. The telephone in the room didn’t work when we wanted to talk to the reception, had to walk all the way down. The manager had a terrible attitude, he argued aloud with guests when we asked for a tea/coffee sachet refill. He didn’t listen to what the guests had to say, he only listened to respond. The pool was not clean, it had leaves and stones on the floor and water was translucent. The deck and the restaurant surrounded by madhu river had no fence or safety measures, there are crocodiles in the river. The bathrooms had a very bad smell coming from the gullies. We picked an expensive hotel to have a good time. But the third class treatment was not worth the huge amount of money we paid

Amazing location with a wonderful staff to support the stay. We had a wonderful time and were able to make lots of memories after a long time with friends and families. They served delicious food as well
