“Still a beauty..”
The historic building is gorgeous, parking is handy, and it’s right in the town centre near restaurants – love the old‑world feel. The staff are friendly and professional. However, the plastic décor in the room and main building feels cheap and tacky, with plastic chandeliers and faux period furniture. The bedroom is cramped for two beds, forcing you to squeeze along the wall to reach the second bed. The living room’s seating and lighting arrangement is confusing. Breakfast was underwhelming; everything was overcooked, like poached eggs boiled for hours, and the cold cuts were not fresh.
