The room was very comfortable and spacious, with space to leave luggage if you arrive before check‑in time, and it’s close to two metro stations which makes moving around a lot easier, but the surrounding streets are dirty, full of trash, street people, and the smell of urine.

The location is great and very central, you can walk everywhere and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, but it was a little hard to find for a first‑time visitor to Barcelona.

The reception staff and the facilities are superbly located; the reception staff, whose name I forgot, is from Venezuela and is incredibly good, and everything was perfect.

The location was spot on, and the terrace in the room was a real bonus. We could drop our luggage at the desk if we checked out late. However, the room was really small for three people, not what we had booked. The bedding was old and in bad shape. Since we were staying for a whole week, we politely mentioned both issues to reception (we’re not usually picky). The management only swapped the mattresses—those were uncomfortable too—and told us the hotel was full and we could leave for a refund if we weren’t happy.

The spot was good. The rooms were very tiny. There was a strong bathroom odor and the sauna had little power. I had a room with a shower, but it wasn’t clean, so I didn’t want to sit there. There was no coffee machine in the room, no wardrobe, and the lobby was small.
