“Overall pleasant stay”
Breakfast was great, the bed was very comfortable and the room was well equipped, but there was no toilet roll, the sink plug was broken and the sink leaked.
The location is fantastic and beautiful, but I found things left in the room from previous guests, dirty towels, and the reception didn’t care when I reported the issues.
The spa and swimming pool were out of use during my stay, and there was no mention of a discount, partial refund, or supplement to compensate for the lack of facilities. The bedroom had extremely old decor, and the curtain pole actually fell on me as I closed the curtains.

The room was very clean and luxurious, the staff were lovely, the setting was beautiful, the evening meal and breakfast were great, and the front‑desk girl went out of her way to help me.
Everything was fine except the bed; it was comfortable, but the twin beds were a no‑no, so I had lousy sleep.
