The host lady was super energetic, made my last night in Dhaka a blast. She brought charmin, fried chicken, naan, beer, shochu, and we chatted a lot. No complaints.

The mom was warm and genuinely caring, made it the best bangla experience. I want to go back just to see her. If you're a Japanese visitor, you shouldn't miss staying here.

For Japanese travelers, this place could be the best stay. The owner was super helpful, making it a memorable trip. The Japanese restaurant served tasty food and you could see their effort. The only downside was how hard it was to find the hotel – it's not obvious.

Mosquito net, close to the airport, safe Uttala area. A bit far from Old Dhaka, so take the metro. You can pay with credit card (though the machine was broken), yen, USD, or taka. They lent us towels, an extension cord, and a nearly broken hair dryer. The 5th floor is a dorm, the 3rd floor is an izakaya where you can meet other Japanese staff. It’s a good first‑night spot for foreigners.

It was useful for gathering info about Bangladesh. The Bangladeshi staff were great, but the female owner is polarizing. She pushed me to eat Japanese food that was pricey and added a 150 Tk service fee. During my short stay, promises were broken, I felt attacked, and at checkout she threatened me, saying if I go elsewhere, I might not come back because of “nanjing bugs.” She seems to have forced guests to stay longer before. Her attitude towards Bangladeshi staff was aggressive.
