This is one of the cheaper options in town; during my second stay the rooms were clean and the beds were good. However, if you can choose, skip rooms 5‑7 because the outdoor smoking area is right outside the room—if you don't like the tobacco smell, request a different room, otherwise everything else is as expected.

We stayed in a family room that was spotless and made us feel truly cared for. The location was right in the middle of town, so we could get a good night’s sleep in our comfy beds without driving far for dinner; we instead enjoyed a great meal at the Heights sports club, which offered a courtesy bus, a hilltop setting, tasty food, and nice views. If you’re in Lismore, I’d point you toward the Dawson.

Ivan was amazing—after I accidentally booked the wrong date, he reached out even though we hadn’t arrived yet to check in, and he moved my reservation to the next day without any extra charge. I can’t thank him enough.
