The place was too old; on the second floor the sliding door creaked loudly. There were only two rooms, and we were only told the key number. The guestbook was just left in the room. Only a towel, face towel, and toothbrush were provided, which did not match the price.

The staff replied quickly and politely to my questions. I’m allergic to artificial scents, but they confirmed that the bedding was scent‑free, which was a huge relief. I had no reservation, yet they still offered a pick‑up; a tuk‑tuk drove me through the rain to an izakaya near the station, and I’m truly grateful. The old house was renovated nicely and comfortable, and the wood in the “Kamoi?” room had a nostalgic feel that I liked. There are two rooms, one for two and one for three, but each is a private room, not a shared space, which is great. Towels, a face towel, and a toothbrush (no toothpaste) were provided, so I could travel light. Please do it again. The only downside is that there are two rooms, and the bathroom is in front of the room, so guests should be considerate of others.

The cost‑to‑value was excellent and the owner was very friendly! The room was basically just a bed and an air conditioner, which was enough for a good night’s sleep. The bar on the first floor was hidden away and the cocktails were delicious. The only issue is that the place is hard to locate.

The spot is great, right by the main street and a walk from the station. There’s no fridge, but that was clearly listed, so no complaints. I think a single desk lamp would be enough.
