The place was clean, quiet, and beautifully Japanese in design, with a superb bathroom and a great location. The tatami layout meant there was no seating unless you’re comfortable sitting on the floor, which my body can’t handle anymore, so that might be a deciding factor for some.

A decent spot, a little out of the way but a 15‑minute walk gets you downtown. The beds feel amazing and the room is spacious and modern. Checking in at the Gyoza Restaurant was a first for me – it went smoothly and the checkout was just as easy. Initially, the check‑in was a bit tricky because the staff handling it was briefly away.

The design is huge and stylish. Because it’s close to the restaurant, the room can get noisy.
