Breakfast was okay, nothing special but fine. The room advertised online had a balcony with mountain view, but there was no balcony at all—just a view of the courtyard. The room was so small that you could barely walk around the bed; that was it. In the past, one might have complained, but times have changed; today such a room costs 130 € a night. Because the weather was good and we really wanted to do another hike, we extended our stay by a day. They gave us a special price, meaning they omitted the VAT and didn’t give us a receipt, just slipped the money in. No comment.

“Auf der Durchreise , Top Lage ,”

The location is very good, parking directly in front of the hotel, and we stayed only one night. The reception was very friendly, we had a courtyard room—very quiet—and we slept well. The restaurant, with a nice outdoor seating area right across from us, was top. Breakfast was perfect; there is no reason for criticism. The rooms could be a bit cleaner—for example, the ashtray on the balcony was still full!

“Sauber, zentral, freundlich. Alles OK für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.”

The staff were very friendly and the terrace was spacious, but between 7:30 and 9:00 our door was opened repeatedly, as if the cleaner didn't know we were still in bed, which was not ideal.

“Gutes Hotel für die Übernachtung als Zwischenstation auf der Tauernautobahn”

The staff were very nice and helpful, the breakfast buffet was generous, and there was free parking a little outside the city centre.
