The breakfast was great and the place sits just a short walk from the town centre. It felt a bit old‑fashioned overall, but it was still clean.

The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast excellent, matching what earlier reviewers had said. Mrs Mcquade and her daughter were very welcoming, making the stay a solid choice if you ever go to Kettering. I’d definitely come back.

I stayed for one night and it was lovely. The room was warm, comfortable and spacious, though the memory‑foam mattress wasn’t really my thing. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very accommodating – I’d definitely return.

This isn’t a chain hotel; it’s run by a mum and daughter who are delightful and offer very personal service. Breakfast was perfect. The rooms are old-fashioned but spotless, with comfy beds. Each room includes a fridge and refreshment area. We stayed in the coach house, which was quirky, and the main house had plenty of character. Parking on site is limited, but we had our spots reserved. I’m not familiar with the area and was there for family reasons; it isn’t an up‑market part of town, but we didn’t feel unsafe.
