Louise and Federico are exceptional, kind and helpful. The rustic menu is excellent, the rooms are evocative and cozy. The pool is simply incredible. Breakfasts are great and the setting is magnificent.

Walking just above Massa Martana, a village rebuilt with great skill and taste after the 1997 quake, we arrived at Casale Alessandri. The renovation is superb: nothing is out of place, every detail is right and shows the owners’ deep passion for the place. Every sensory cue is rewarded: from the breathtaking landscape view to the exquisite kitchen flavors that dominate the main space like a theatre stage, where the owner is the main actor. In short, an unmissable spot where you willingly get lost and are overwhelmed by calm. Unmissable!

“Retour aux sources”

The site, pool and the character of the place and the room were all great, yet the dining area was dim, overlooked the parking lot and had uncomfortable chairs, which was a shame because the surroundings are stunning and underused; the surprise dinner was fine for the first night but became disappointing later since we couldn’t choose from more options in a gastronomic region – I think two menu choices would be reasonable, and I didn’t like being charged on arrival without seeing the room first.
