The service, hospitality, location, cleanliness and the information about tours and local facilities were great, but the service and hospitality left something to be desired.

The lodge sits in a very quiet spot with a large, pleasant green area. The owner is very friendly and attentive, welcoming us warmly. The setting is cozy, the room spotless, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. The only downside was the shower, which could use a bit more water pressure.

The facilities were excellent, the place spotless, rooms free of mold or bad smells. The highlight was the service; a reservation mix‑up happened, but the owner resolved it immediately. The shower could be hotter; it was fine for a shower but not for filling the baby’s tub. Still, the owner always heated water in a mug to keep the baby’s bath warm.

The lodge owner is wonderful—very attentive, helpful, polite, and hardworking. I only have compliments for her and her assistant. The lodge isn’t far from the city center, the area is quiet, and it’s close to the BR and the city exit for those heading to Trindade or other destinations. Nothing to criticize; there were two minor points I didn’t like, but it’s just a matter of taste.
