The location is excellent and the whole house is very clean! The rooms are large and offer great value. However, although the owner was friendly, the sales pitch about transfers, tours, tuk-tuks, bikes, etc. felt overwhelming from the start via email and on arrival. Less is more, which we felt was the case; we never asked if we needed all that.

The spot was great—right between the train station and the historic park, with several restaurants nearby. You can take a boat across the river to/from the station. The room was large, tidy, and comfy, and the wooden house had a nice vibe. The downside of the wooden building is that you have to keep noise down and avoid spilling water on the floor, which is understandable.

It was quiet for a short time in the city. The beds are very comfy. The rooms are simple but spacious, with extra furniture that turns them into a sort of living room. The owner is a good source of information. The wooden house has charm but is old, and the wooden floors make noise. We didn't hear much from other guests, but it's something to keep in mind.
