“A lovely alternative to a hotel room”

We stayed in the School Bus; the bus itself was in beautiful shape and the air conditioner in the connected bedroom/bathroom was strong enough to keep the bus tolerably cool when the connecting doors were open. The canopy over the bus gave us a large, private outdoor living area that included a wood‑fired hot tub. The kitchen was easy to use. The doorway from the bus to the attached bedroom can be a hazard for tall people—you end up ducking.

The location was excellent, walking to the beach leads straight to the small official beach entrance. The place is completely surrounded by dense nature.

“Staying here was the highlight of our Costa Rica trip.”

We loved everything about the Beach Suite and the Tree House Lodge. The home is truly a work of art. We have never stayed at a place quite this magical and relaxing. Pamela and Edsart were also fantastic hosts. We can’t wait to return one day. There was absolutely nothing to dislike. It was an unforgettable experience

I really like this house, the owner was super nice and the full experience was amazing. We could just walk to the beach, there was so much nature that felt like we were part of it. My wife loved the yoga class. The house was clean, staff was friendly. It is part of this amazing property with a massive garden. Really nothing was not good, I am so pleasantly surprised by the place.

“Filthy. Avoid at all cost.”

The beach in front of the property is amazing. The land is big and there are lots of animals around. The place is filthy. The bed sheets were stained. I almost vomited when using the towels. So disgusting. The room smelled bad, very moist. I had to buy a desiccant but even that didn’t help. We left the next day. Just disgusting. The property photos are heavily edited or from an era when the place was clean.
