Pousada do Grande Lago is a nature-surrounded retreat in Lindóia, featuring a shared balcony with hammocks and panoramic views of Lindóia Lake. The hotel boasts a pool, sun terrace, free Wi-Fi, and a buffet breakfast with fresh fruits, breads, and cold meats. The location was close to the lake, but the acoustics between rooms were terrible, the breakfast had little variety when I arrived, and the worst part was that they didn’t refill anything.

We spent one night together and can only thank the staff for their warm welcome; everyone was polite, the place was spotless and the bed very comfy. I didn’t get to try the pool, kayak or bikes even though they were available, so I can’t comment on them, and the breakfast covered the basics. I did wish there had been a games room, at least a pool table, and it was handy that the inn sits close to the center, making it easy to eat out.

The staff were very courteous and the breakfast was excellent, but the entrance to the lodge was a bit confusing; GPS pointed to the vehicle gate while the reception was on the street above.

The service and location were good, the facilities were solid, and although not all rooms have air conditioning, ours did. The shower could be improved, but it doesn’t detract from the establishment.
