It’s a nice place that meets expectations well. I slept well in the bed, though the bathroom is a bit tight; even slim people bump their backside on the door frame while brushing teeth. At check‑in, despite the stated 12–20 p.m. window, no one was on site, but everything worked smoothly because the bell was connected to the phone. For breakfast I would have liked more vegetable options; only tomatoes from the garden behind the house were offered, but they were especially tasty, sweet, and came in a large variety (red, orange, yellow, black). Otherwise there were plenty of jams, honey, nut spreads, four kinds of juice, milk alternatives, sausage, cheese, cornflakes, various seeds and nuts, bread, assorted rolls, coffee, and tea—enough of everything. The fruit and veg could improve. The drinks selection—water, regional wine, sparkling wine, beer, juice—was also great via a trusted cashier. I was happy with my stay for three nights and would recommend it. The owner doesn’t accept payment at booking; you must pay on site, only with cash or debit card, no credit cards accepted for cost reasons, so bring cash. In the bathroom there are only Sparkasse and Volksbank ATMs, possibly with fees.
