The location is great, the staff is friendly, and the massage was very good. The hotel is marketed as a family hotel, but we only saw foreign staff who barely spoke German and could hardly give information. The drink bills were almost always wrong, so we gave up. The coffee was bitter, the fruit selection was only two varieties per day, and that was it. The sauna was too small, the walls were already moldy, the stairs were full of cobwebs, and the bathroom wall was also not in good condition.

“Für zwei Nächte okay.”

The hotel’s location is ideal for hiking and other outdoor activities. We had a Comfort room that was well equipped, with a small seating area (small sofa, armchair, little table). The bed was a pleasant size and the mattresses were cozy. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of storage and towel hooks. The breakfast buffet was very, very good. However, the rooms were extremely dark and no daylight came in. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired: the floor in our room was clean, but the corners on the ceilings should have been vacuumed because spiders and bugs were hanging there. The hallway carpet was dirty and had not been vacuumed for weeks. The curtains in the room were dirty, including the louvered curtain in the bathroom. The dark restaurant area also did not appeal to us; it was fine for the evening but not for breakfast. The staff spoke only limited or very poor German. There is a wellness area with a very small indoor pool and sauna, but it feels more like a basement and not very pleasant.

Located right in the middle of a small village, you can start walking straight away. Free parking is available at the hotel. Everything you need is in the building. There are several small saunas in a somewhat maze-like wellness area. The hotel sits on a slope and has grown historically, making it very winding. Areas such as the breakfast buffet in the restaurant get crowded. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m., which adds to the congestion. The wellness area has only five beds, which is too few depending on the hotel’s occupancy. Unfortunately, the building is also hardly expandable.

“Nicht dem Preis entsprechend, hätte theoretisch Potenzial”

The rooms are nicely furnished. There was no cocoa at breakfast. Several dead flies were in the room, overall it wasn’t clean – the remote controls were sticky and dirty. The wellness area was very dark and small. There were language barriers with the staff. The food service was poor.
