“Great service and location on an expansive property. So glad we discovered it.”
The 9‑ft deep pool was a delight, though a touch short for serious lap swimming, yet it offered a cool spot to relax in a lovely setting. The custom breakfast was expansive and impeccably prepared, and the service was excellent. The happy hour, featuring live piano music, surprisingly included six quality wines—three white and three red—plus a chance to mingle with other guests and discover the cultural offerings of the Berkshire art scene. The property’s old‑world charm made the bedrooms a bit cramped; ours had a large closet that accommodated a dresser and hanging racks. The bed’s separate foam cushion slid a bit and was not entirely comfortable, but it was a minor issue. Overall, very little to dislike.
